i am about to buy a magnaflow 14815 muffler on ebay for $142 which is a great deal. my dad has a welder but we dont have a pipe bender so cant do the job i guess. how much am i looking to pay to get this new muffler welded on? could i also get some pictures of how it looks like before and after (under the car)

A local place charged me $80 just to swap out a previous muffler with that exact one. Probably charged a bit much since all he did was cut off the old one, weld on the new one, and weld on a mounting bracket, but he did a good job I guess. My car had no resonator when I bought it, are you looking to remove your resonator as well?

i would like to keep the resonator. are you saying that no pipe bending was involved? i though that the muffler was a little longer and that the pipe had to be moved back. if its only cut and weld job i could probably get it done in my garage. can you take a picture of what it looks like under the car with the new muffler in?

Not sure what replacing the stock muffler entails, I never had one...
When it's light out I could take a picture. However I haven't cleaned the tips in a while so they're rather black . Maybe I could do something about that while taking the picture.
And lucky for you my car is going up on all 4s tomorrow, need to do that in order to change the tranny fluid.

Had to get on the internet to figure out how to remove the front bumper (also doing snub mount today), so I figured I would put up the pictures at the same time:
Also keep in mind that I am FWD, so some of the pipe routing for the resonator removal could be different. And you get to see the Neuspeed rear swaybar I installed a couple days ago
