Default Can I get away with 235/45/17 on a dropped B5?

Hey folks,

Bit of a newb question here, please be gentle.

I'm looking at new wheels, and as I'm running fairly low for a B5, I'm not sure I can get away with moving from my current 225/45/17s to a set of 235/45/17 without rubbing.

Anybody tried this?

Welcome to the forums. You have a clean looking B5!

Now to answer your question, how wide are your wheels?

Second, are your front fenders rolled?

To address the question, you shouldn't have any problems with that size. I ran that size (undropped) and had enough room in there for a soda can sideways.

Current wheels are (I believe) 7.5s, running 225/45/17 Pirelli P6's.

Fenders are bone stock.

check your wheels offset first. im runnin 3.5 inch drop on 19x8.5 with 35mm offset and 225/35/19. i already tried 235/35/19 and they rubbed. if i had less offset i would be ok. so check first.
