Default Cams? Headwork?

Are there any cams for the 30v v6?

Also, has anyone done any v6 headwork that made any noticeable results?

I don't know of any cams for the 2.8, I've looked for weeks. I also never heard of anyone getting head work though I don't see why a good port-and-polish wouldn't improve flow. I would get a port-and-polish done but I don't have any money to do it with and I don't wanna **** my heads up so I don't want to do it myself.

you can't just drop in cams and expect to gain power. they have to have the right supporting mods and be degree'd and so forth to really gain power. no company is gona put forth the kind of r&d required to make a good cam for the 2.8 since its not a popular engine to mod. so your gona spend a lot of money and get not that great of gains.

bottom line, if your looking for performance mods, ditch the 2.8

forget about cams....

as far as headwork goes...a port and polish never hurt anyone...especially if you ported your intake mani....run some hfc to 2.5" piping back...and then you could safely run a 75 shot of nitrous....

Hey man, I started a thread about getting power on the 2.8 (2.8 power). Bottom line:it's a better idea to venture off on your own and see what you can do. The best bang for the buck is a PES s/c. Don't get pissed off when you don't like what your reading. Your a 2.8 owner; it happens all the time. You can look my thread up sometime to see what a disaster it was. After 132 posts probably the best info I got was from onepoint8tee telling me to try Audizine or Audi World.
