Cam seals - BLAUfergnugen's gasket kit
I have a oil leak coming from both sets of cam seals on my V6 (2.8) Audi A4,I believe this to be a common problem on this engine. I have the car booked in to replace the seals along with fitting a new timing belt and water pump.
My question is should I replace the seals with OEM (audi)parts since they since they seem to be a know commonproblem or replace them with an alternative for example BLAUfergnugen's valve cover gasket kit.

Does anybody have experience with BLAUfergnugen's Audi valve cover gasket kit and would you recommend using them over the OEM/audi parts?
Thanks for your help
Luke

Valve cover gasket and cam seals are two totally different things. Never heard of those guy's but that doesn't mean anything. You can get everything from ECStuning.com I'm sure. They have the best brands usually.

You could do the valve cover gaskets yourself with a minimum of tools and time. Others on here who have done them have said that you're looking at less than an hour and very simple work to pull the covers and replace the seals. Give it a look-over and see how you feel about doing it before you pay someone way too much money to do it for you.
