Calling all My Fellow Audi enthusiates..... I Need Some Advice
Hey guys as you can probably see i dont post to often. but i visit this site EVERY DAY.... i want to show you guys wut ive been workin on the last year my baby. i need some help after SPENDING THE LAST TWO WEEKS SEARCHING HERE AND AUDIZINE, VWVORTEX FOR SOLUTIONS. THE ONLY PERSON AROUND HERE WHO SEEMS THE MOST KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THIS WOULD BE CINCYTT. if anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
she is a 2000 a4 1.8tq tiptronic
upgrades include 2006 s4 wheels 18x8.5
rieger body kit
smoke sides and tail lights
a6 xenon conversion
chrome mirrors and door handles
reiger wing
and a fresh *** paint job.....
moving on she has engine upgrades including
apr silicone hoses
n75 j valve, evoms cold air
gpop ported n polished k04 with polishes housing with ported and polished exhaust manifold to match. a 2.5 test pipe with 2 sparkplug non foulers( that dont work by the way)
2.5 inch borla turbo back
giac k04 file with switcher, 3 programs stock pump n race
custom fmic
ecs underdrive pulley with belts
new south power gasket
lltek frnt strut bar
polished intake manifold-diy
5.0 fpr
giac tip chip.
that covers upgrades now i have a problem with surging and complete loss of power with the epc light coming on. i have a n75j in the car and i also have a n75c factory valve. i bought the forge mbc to try n get rid of the highway surging and it did but the car goes into complete limp mode with no power and i cant even drive i have to shut it off and restart it to go. now this only happens when i use the mbc with or without the n75. when i eliminate the mbc the car doesnt go into serious limp but the car feels like it constantly stutters and jerks through regular accelerating. not real bad but you feel it as you boost and the car is not running smothly. also i realized today that my fuel lines are crushed on the passenger side and i have to replace them but audi wants like 325.00 for all three and i really dont have the money. if anyone has some let me know. i love this car and have high hopes that are fading fast. ive tried everything and i cant seem to get this to work. i live in ct and have had a hard time trying to get this car looked at by a real tuner. the last two that looked at it have since gone out of business. any help would be great. enjoy the pics i worked real hard.......

First, I have almost the same set up. gpop k04, apr test pipe, but my non foulers do work. Could you get me a pic of the non foulers? I might be able to help with that. Second, how's your fuel filter? If it's clogged, speratic fuel flow might cause some surging. That would be my first check.

thanks bishop, that came to mind today when i was searching. i went and bought a new filter today and im going to get it in on monday. also what i did was put two non foulers together and drilled out 1 of them so my 02 sensor would fit i screwed them all together and put it in the rear o2 bung. i brought it to two places and they said it was right but we cant figure out why i get a check engine light from the bank1 sensor 2 signal to low. any ideas??????

That code isn't from an 02 sensor, although I'm not sure what it is for.
My non fouler set up is exaclty the same and I don't get a code, so I think it for something else. You should pm cincy and ask about the code.

also, this is my two sense.. but couldnt the surging and EPC stuff be from a bad MAF? either try some MAF cleaner or get a new one... not so cheap.. but could prolly pick one up used? ask around and see if thats what it might be possibly..

thanks guys i appreciate it, i replaced my maf and both front and reaR 02 sensors about a year ago i still have the receipts. the car has about 3000 miles on each so i dont think thats the problem. im hoping cincy and maybe thepaintballguy can give me some input cuz i know they have had some issues that they were able to help other with. i appreciate your input though guys...... hopefully i see you guys at waterfest!!!! if shes runing good
