Default A/C pressure sensors

So I've been having a problem with my A/C system, and have narrowed it down to something between the dash unit and the mechanics of the system. So, it has to be one of those pressure sensors, right? Well, I'm not sure, so if someone could help me out from past experiences or post up some pics of what to look for, that would be awesome. I've been told also that it could be the A/C clutch control relay, since the system doesn't seem to engage. Anyone know how to test, so I don't get the wrong parts?

does the compressor kick on when you turn the AC on? does the snowflake icon light up on the display? do you have enough refrigerant in the system?

Compressor doesn't seem to, but I know for sure that there is refrigerant in system and it is mechanically sound. And, no, I don't get any snowflakes. I've never gotten one, except on the outside temp. display on the dash.

I'm thinking the problem is for sure the pressure switch (Mfg Part# 1K0959126B). Going to try jumping the sensor wires to see what happens. Wish me luck.

I have a similar problem with my 1999 A4 2.8. The snowflake icon comes on when I push it, but the recirculation icon won't stay on. I recharged the system today with 2 cans but am only getting warm-outside air. I'm thinking the compressor might not be engaging either.

Let me know how it goes. Good luck!

Angry AC compressor disengage frequently

I have a 99 Audi a4, the AC is working fine when it's not so hot, but when in traffic light or slow traffic and hot climate I can feel that air is not that cold especially when the compressor disengage I can hear it disengage for 30 seconds or so which makes the air hot inside. when I went to the dealer they said it's OK... when i went to another workshop i found that the pressure get so high when I accelerate slightly, could be that a clogged evaporator?? they don't do an evaporator flush at the dealer.
