Burnt rubber smell worse after valve cover gasket change
I changed my passenger side valve cover gasket when I did my timing belt about a month ago. And it just didn't seem to fit like it should, but I put it on anyway. Now I've got a burnt rubber smell coming into the car (worse than before)once it is warmed up. You can also smell it if you're standing around the engine bay. Is there a special trick to getting the new gaskets on right? I've got another gasket from ECS that I was gonna use on the driver side but I have a stripped out bolt. Thanks in advance.
