Default burning rubber need help! (not tires)

so today on by drive to work my car was cold so if I give it gas it jerks around, I'm only boosting 12psi so idk after rep gauge was normal I started to drive a little faster to see if I would jerk around, I didn't so I opened my car up. When I got to work and parked, a strong burning rubber smell was comming from my car. I pop the hood and man it was hot, I heard some crackeling and my ac pipes had condensation all over them, and they were hissing. Ac was off while I was driving. I don't want to break my car so anyone got any idea, yesterday I smelt it too my dad thought it was the way I have my lines to my mbc. Idk any help would be great, I'm still at work posted this from my cell phone, so my replys are not going to be instant.

Is your car stick, could be your clutch you smell if so.

Did you look to see if any hoses are touching a heat shield or soemthing else really hot? "Crackeling" sounds normal if you had just shut your engine off. Exhaust parts expand when they are hot and imediately start contracting when exhast gas temp is reduced. That should be what that noise is. Don't know about the AC lines, are you SURE it wasn't on? The compressor always runs unless you press econ or the unit is off. As for the jerking around, i don't know. What do you mean "only 12psi"? You don't have a chip, and that is about 4psi over stock. It probably won't kill your engine, but you could try turning it down if the jerking around is something that happend after you installed the mbc.

Car is tip, i have my MBC lines on my heatshield and the smell is right in that area, if u look directly at my cat and smell its really strong. and i mean 12psi by im on stock ECU with my mbc set to 4 psi higher than stock. the jerking was only when my engine was cold, when it got to normal temperature, it ran normal, i lowered my psi to around 9 and seems to run fine cold. i am going to order my chip sometime this month. heres some pictures of how my mbc is hooked up.

WG= Waste Gate BP= Boost Preasure. its hooked up right just i used long lines so i can have access to it

The black part in the red square was covered in condensation and there was a hissing noise from the blue valves

should i shorten my lines? will my car run better if i do?

That hose that runs between your cat/turbo and the airbox heat shield could be the problem. Also, that is a heat sink on the bottom of your ICM. It should be bolted to metal like it was on the stock air box to disipate heat correctly.

ok ill shorten my hoses tomorrow morning when its light out, and i would need to find a place to screw my ICM to, the mounting bracket i have for my MAF has a spot but i cant fit it on correctly when the ICM is screwed to it, its been like that since July, is it really a big deal? i can move it anyway but whats the harm if i dont?

lots of people don't have the icm attatched to anything and don't have problems.... or maybe they do. I don't think you need to shorten your lines, just move the mbc to the other side of your intake.
