Default my repairs (updated 08-10-2008)

I got alot of parts to change on my car... front axles, front control arms, tie rod ends, rotors, drivebelt and alternator. That i have planned out pretty ok and working on, but the body shop said i cant get my bumper fixed... the right bumper clip appears to have broken and it hangs down about an inch and a half. He is saying to fix that i have to get a whole new bumper thats gonna run me 1100 to buy and get installed. Now this all sounds too funny to me. Anyone knows if i can just get the clips replacedor another way of getting the bumper pulled up? thanks yall.

you could always rig up something to hold up your bumper. haha. i had this same problem until i just decided to get a s4 front bumper. start looking around for front bumpers. you can definately get one cheaper than 1100. good luck

Good news guys...
1. I got my alternator and drivebelt changed. My mechanic quoted me 430 the most then said it came up to 700+ but he had already quoted me the price so i think i got that at a steal.

2. I went and bought the front right bumper clip from the stealership and realized i didnt even need it. The guy that owned the car's mechanic sucked... long story short he didnt know how the clip worked and said it was broken when it was perfectly fine. So i fixed that myself.

Now my back bumper is still miss aligned a bit and was told i need a new retainer... something the back clips attach to, but the dealers dont know what im talking about.

Also i wanted to know if this was a good control arm kit to get. And if anyone know of a good place to get my front drive axles that would be great.

oh and audi's (especially b5 A4s) are getting real popular in my area. Might even try to get a group together.
