Okay things where going just fine until I tried installing the new hose. The hose is not molded to the correct orientation for it to fit properly and I am afraid I bending because the last time I did that it broke. Here is a picture of how it sits.



Has anyone else ran into this problem? If so how did you fix it?

 

No one has any help? I have thought about heating it up but with this material and how thin it is I am not sure if I can do it.

 

have a heat gun? lol im not sure if how the material would react, but you should DEF try it on your old one, or something equivalent before you try.. An wy if its not the same are you USING IT?!?!?! they prob gave you the 12v one.. (just a guess)

ya i got a heat gun but i don't think it will be hot enough.

 

try on your old one.. it wouldnt hurt to try.

 

you can't reheat these. it is a thermoset plastic.

if you ever plan to buy a breather hose kit get the one from blauparts. There kit is genuine Audi. The kit that ecstuning has is from MTC. However the valves that come with the kit are genuine audi but neither of the hoses are not.

I was very disappointed with ecs that they put a kit together that doesn't even work on the car they sell it for.
