Hey, my rotors are worn down pretty thin. I was looking at s4 (B5S) rotors and calipers/pads to put in my 98 2.8 A4Q. will they fit? If anything will the rotors fit with the stock calipers?

 

most people do the "A8 big brake kit"

zimmerman rotors with tt carriers... pretty cheap and a nice upgrade.

if they were the same size between the S4 and A4 why dont you just get the ones that say they fit your car. if they were the same exact size, they would have the exact same stopping power (with similar materials/brands) so what would the benefit be in getting something that is specificly not for your car?

 

^^agreed. And agreed with hb972.8q on the A8 kit - got mine early this year and it's excellent. Can't beat it for the price.

 

No the S4 brakes (all parts) will not fit on your A4.

like everyone said get the A8 upgrade, or buy 2 a8 rotors and 2 audi tt caliper carriers, youcan put on S4 rotors and calipers but youll need to buy to S4 spindles.

 

any pix of the installed goods? whats the total parts list? A8 rotors(from what years?), tt carriers, ?... thanks

 

I have the A8 rotors and tt carriers as well. Great upgrade!

 

just go to ecstuning.com. they offer the kit with stock rotors for under 300. hwat it does is uses a larger rotor, spaces the stock caliper out further usingt he tt carriers and thus give more leverage when stopping. you need minimum 16" wheels to clear them.
