Uses 12.3" A8 rotors and stock calipers. cant beat it for the money.

Evil's got it right. This is the best bang for the buck. if you're looking for something more, you can do the prosche big brake upgrade, but it's big bank. i believe bothBrembo and Willowood makeBBK's for the b5 a4, but the cost is in the 3-4k range...
Also, something to keep in mind is most 4 and six piston brake setups run race compound pads that will squal anddustlike crazy since you'll never get them to operating temp on the street.
My vote is for what evil posted with slotted and drilled rotors...

I'm looking for break opinions as well. My options based on pricing are...
1) regular a4 slotted/drilled zimmerman rotors all the way around
2) a8 rotors in front, a4 rotors in rear, NON-slotted/drilled
I have stock A4 rims, and most likely wont be upgrading anytime soon.
