Brake Caliper Pins......

Default Brake Caliper Pins......

K try to some up fast w/ forum problems: 6mm, 7mm (1/4') allen are too small for my brake pins but an 8mm is too big The 1/4" / 7mm fits my new pins perfectly.. Whats the deal?

Mines a 7mm. Hose that bitch down with some brake cleaner.

^Agreed. They're probably full of rust and perhaps even stripped. They are supposed to be 7mm IIRC.

Hm i guess ill hafta try and look at them from the back, im doing it all blindly.

ROFL.. Good tip...

If the caps are off, if I remember correctly, even with the correct size allen bit/wrench, it's a REAL tight fit.

Haha, turns out 1/4" wasnt right, it does fit my new pins though. Oh and the caps are off haha. It should be 7mm for the pins then im gonna check tomorrow. Im sure the new ones i got wont fit then (not even changing brake pins is easy, theres always something).

You might have to heat the pins to loosen
the thread-lock.
