Hi I have a 01 audi a4 1.8t with magnaflow exhaust and a k&n filter I also have a forge div/bov and I noticed I can't get the whooshing sound why not? I also have a 3" down pipe cat delete will that make it louder?

You don't get much noise because the splitter only purges a relatively small amount of the boost air. That's a good thing - this car isn't made for blowoffs (stickys and Search will explain that). The opened up exhaust with those components may make the turbo more audible but I doubt it'll do much for the purge sound. Majority opinion? That's also good. These cars just aren't the class of car you'd expect to be dumping boost to the atmosphere.

as long as the valve is closed during idle you are fine, try running the valve in full blowoff. it will get you the sound you are looking for, and befor ppl start flaming my statement, I run my forgesplitter in full blowoff with no issues.
if it stalls or all power is lost all of a sudden, try stiffening up the valve.
you will also need a 1" plug for the tip.
