I have checked the corrugated PCV hose and there are no leaks in that itself. Although i may need a new one soon as i am putting off doing the valve cover gasket and the pcv hose cracks even when gently trying to remove it (i hear). This morning i got a spew of error codes;
p0304 - cyl 4 misfire
p1394 - ignition coil power output stage 2 electrical problem
p0302 - cyl 2 misfire
I have a feeling the problem not just the vaccum hose but maybe a defective coil pack? Both cylinder 2 and 4 are on the same coil.

Looks like your idle rpm is low, should it be around 850rpm instead of 750rpm to begin with.
Can anyone chime in.

I believe i read somewhere that the tiptronic and the manual idle at a slightly different rpm? The tiptronic idles a little lower?
But again to today i started the car and it was misfiring, so i turned it off and tried again (repeated this about 4-6 times) until it finally ran smooth? It seems like this is turning into a bigger problem.
I am asking for any ideas or thoughts on what could be causing this?

I should have responded here a while ago. the problem turned out to be a dirty throttle body. if anyone has this problem, make your throttle body sparkle!
