Default Bought someone else's problem... help

The car runs and drives pretty good (I haven't driven it without the CEL though so I don't know if it should be driving better or not), and doesn't stall out. Once so far it's run poorly for a few seconds after startup, but the rest of the time it's been fine. I went to Autozone and had the codes scanned today and got the following. I can look them all up on here/Google individually, but maybe someone can help me link them together to like one or two problems.

P1340 - camshaft sensor and engine speed sensor output incorrectly correlated
P0501 - vehicle speed sensor? Speedo seems to work but I have no idea if it's correct.
P0411 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected
P0301 - Misfire cylinder 1

Where should I begin? What here could be related? I think P1340 and P0301 could be related, but would anything else fit into this? Perhaps P1340 and P0501 can be related, so that one of the speed sensors is giving bad data that is then compared to multiple other sensors and makes both codes get thrown?

I have P0411 - Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected as well. You can buy the part here http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B5_A4-...r_Pump/ES3279/. i haven't replaced mine yet and the car is running fine. The misfire is probably a coil pack or spark plug, try switching one coil pack with another to see if that cylinder miss fires. one the other 2 i have no idea. Hope you get your problems fixed

First thing I'd do is have the codes cleared, then fire it up and drive to see which ones come back. If the car stalled out on you at one time, I could see it setting the misfire code easily, and to a lesser extent the cam sensor and speed codes. Secondary air code is a little bit of a stretch for being set by a stall, especially since failure of the air pump is pretty common on these cars, but it's a maybe. Reset them, drive, and see what comes back - those are what you'll have to fix. The rest were flukes.

BTW if you need a cam sensor, I have a few spares - let me know and I can hook you up cheap.

I'm with Devil on this one.

Keep in mind the secondary air pump only comes on with a cold start. So if you start the car then clear the codes, you might not get the air flow code until your next cold start.

Nooooooooooooooooooo, so do I have to pretty much redo the process? Are you sure about that?

And yeah, I just went and they did tell me it's illegal and they didn't do it.

Actually, they scanned them again this time and didn't mention anything about the camshaft thing. But I didn't see the scanner and he might have just not said that one (didn't notice he missed one or what).

I ordered the cable (the alpha-bid Ebay one) but it'll be some number of days before I get it, and ideally I need to have the car passing inspection by Wednesday. I probably won't, but the less time it takes, the better. YHPM.
