Default Bose 6.5 Speaker replacement

Does anyone know where I can find replacement bose speakers for the 6.5 rear deck speakers? My left side the dust cap was lose after gluing it on my right side started buzzing out of the blue. I've searched the forums and ran a google search. Is there a particular part number I should be looking for? And are our speakers 2-way 250 watts? I'd prefer getting the same Bose speakers.

Thanks for your time guys.

You could try shokan, but i dunno if there's a reliable way of making sure you aren't just buying new junk. Why not take this opportunity to upgrade the stereo?

I heard if you called up Bose they would give you a replacement speaker at no cost. There is thread about it. I would do a search for "Bose speaker".

I replaced both rear speakers after they kept buzzing with these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=290-305

They work great. Much better than the stock Bose ever did. Very pleased.

Keep in mind those are only woofers and will not play highs at all. For a cheap woofer, I'd much sooner recommend this: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=299-250

But still, I'd recommend car audio speakers (or a woofer, tweeter and crossover if you really wanted to buy them separately - but you'd need to tweak it yourself to get it right - I use an active crossover so I can easily tweak it).

Rainbow would tool all over JL. But I don't think this is a "I want to spend a bunch of money on speakers" thread :P And besides, rear speakers are much more of a waste than fronts.

Wow I think I forgot to subscribe to my own thread lol, sorry for the delay, thanks for your input guys I guess I'll start off with looking for that free replacement "evan" mentioned and you're right "CC" I could end up buying something that has a weeks life left, I may as well upgrade. I know nothing about speakers, what would be the best replacements? Not trying to break the bank either, not keeping my car that much longer but I have a long commute to work, so something that sounds awesome would great.

Give us a budget. But I gotta say, your front speakers are FAR more important than rears. I would rather run good fronts and no rears than decent fronts and decent rears.
