lol @ your helper. Looks to be coming along nicely! How does your wife feel about you building a motor on the rattan furniture?

Did you end up getting a Apikol Manifold? If you need one let me know.

WOT-Box? Not worth it just to launch the car since you aren't really producing much power when the rpms are sitting still and running on 2-3 cylinders during that time. You will get better 60 ft times just launching it normal which is blip/WOT/dump clutch. Only thing you will gain by using a 2 step for launching is better reaction time on the tree while at the track.

CCA4, she's not the wife yet, but she hates all this nonsense. But she loves fast cars lol.

Mike, I do need an apikol still, just makin sure everything goes smooth putting the car back together first. But you'll be hearin from me. Thanks.

Oh and mike I see your point about the 2step. But wouldn't the ignition cut be beneficial down the track?

Cool, just give me a call when your ready.

I guess all went well with the bolt issue?

It cuts all of the power when using the flat shifting part and does that so the motor is not making any tq while your holding the throttle WOT during the shift. So your throttle is open and the air is still passing thru the motor, but boost is still going to fall since the motor is not making power at the time. Learn to shift fast enough, lift off the throttle a little after pushing the clutch pedal and the boost will never dip into vacuum.

haha learn to shift fast enough lol. just do it lol.

i like the 2.0T on the valve cover. gosh the 1.8 motor just looks so simple compared to the 2.8 in service position. props to you for not buying cheap tools though. you're more of a function over form guy huh? some people woulda painted the block. so when are you gonna get this thing on the road again?
