Default Boost Guage setup help

ok im planning on chipping my ecu either by the end of this year or the first couple of month's next year and i wanted to start and get everything in order like my boost Gauge set up. I was wondering how you guy's have yours set up and im not willing to buy the APR kit and ECS tuning kit which i think is a rip off so i was thinking, Ebay or buy second hand on crigslist.

Next question would be where do i put it or mount it and if there are some pillar's that i could buy that don't cost like 100 and up thanks guy's

We carry the podi, the BEST gauge solution for the A4 hands down. I personally have this setup on my B6 and couldn't be happier. I have compared it to the center vent gauges and this is really no contest.

This is the digital VEI setup, my personal favorite, but they do offer mechanical gauges

I'm running an AWE Tuning boost gauge. I picked it up on eBay for $125. It came with just the gauge/center vent, not any of the hardware. I got this boost gauge installation kit for $15, http://www.boostcontroller.com/index.php?item=256.

Been very happy with it and the install wasn't hard.

I think center vent vs. steering mount being the "best solution" comes down to personal preference.

I used this as a guide for the install. Pg. 6-14 shows routing of the hoses, etc.
