Default BMW vs. Audi??

So im torn between an e36 bmw and a audi a4... I kinda wanna hear from the audi's who are dropped and have some good suspension mods and how they handle for them, I have had 3 b5's but i have never done any handling mods and they never handled as good at my e36 328is, What do you guys think?

You're RWD bias and most likely always will be, if you live in an area with no snow you should always go with the BMW.

Well i live in seattle, so snow is not always a problem here, maybe a week out of the year but it is always wet. You would agree that the bmw will outhandle the a4 on some nice coilovers? maybe even upgraded sway bars? i loved the sport feel of the bmw and response of it but i have never experienced a well modded a4

Will it OUT handle a well modded A4? Not in my opinion no, and audi has proven that over and over again after BMW has followed them in races. However BMW feels much more sporty and fun to drive around the race track, so it actually feels faster because you might actually enjoy the drive more. If you plan to hit the track all the time i would still go with the BMW, its not always about the fastest lap time, especially when you just want to have fun.

Yah i don't think ill be hitting the track anytime soon, so maybe the audi will be the way to go, and eventually down the road ill have to pick myself up an m3

I have an e36 328i 5spd lowered on H&R springs and KYB shocks and an A6 2.7tq 6spd (Stock) the BMW will out handle my Audi, I'm in Spokane and we get snow by the truck loads so I need AWD. With that being said I'd rather drive my audi any day of the week more comfortable and way faster. BUT for a trip through the twisties I'll grab the BMW

Yah im really thinkin the bmw would eat the a4 handling wise, but at the same time the a4 is already turbod which makes it easy to save a lot of money performance wise

if you go E36 make sure its a m3 those cars are sweet i would of definently got one but we get tons of snow here so i need awd but luxury wise they are probably similar handling wise id say a m3 might be better and look wise they both look awesome.

Well i probably couldn't get an m3 but i would get either a 325is or 328is and yah i live in seattle so theres really not much snow here to worry about, maybe a couple days of the winter but those couple days are probably the funnest of the year with the a4
