i need one lol what is a good one to go with anyone got a used one or something

not to thred jack or annything but i have a blowoff question for all the smart people.. my friend has a 2000 1.8tand its chipped and has a true blow off not a splitter and hes been running that problem free for over a year... how is he getting away with that? from what everyone says there so bad for our cars

no they aren't. if you have a MAP sensor (2000+) it will automatically readjust after a few days so any BOV that is closed at idle will work fine. pre-00 you run a bit rich, but i have a 98.5 and have been running a 004 for a while now with no problems.

I have had my turboXS BOV on my 99.5 since 2006, no problems, but yea you can smell it is a bit rich if you're driving it hard.

cause you are venting at idle. You are also venting less than you should otherwise you would probably stall
