200k is no spring chicken.. let's say you put it all back together and in 5k more miles you spin a main bearing.. there goes your crank and block journals.. and more time and MORE money fixing the bottom end.. who knows it could last 5 miles or 55k miles you never know.. point is if your that deep in and already got a fresh head I wouldn't gamble on a 200k bottom end.. you do you though.. good luck and hope it all works out for you..

Ok, you talked me into it. The shop I use is very reasonable but I have no idea what the cost would be. Anyone have any input as to the cost of a dip, hone, rings, bearings and rings? I was thinking along the lines of $350-400 or around $450-500 if they assemble.
