Blauparts Timing Belt Tool Rental
So I have to do my timing belt, Im thinking about the Blauparts kit: http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GH21102-1A . They also list a toolkit that can be rented to complete the job: http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=N1A1012-A is this necessary or would it make the job alot easier, or less risky if this is the first time Im doing it? I dont remember seeing any special tools in the writeups.
Also: any thoughts between this kit (full): http://www.purems.com/products/product.php/II=1151 -- this one says somethin about a "relay roller" that isnt included in other kits, what is that??
Or the blauparts one I listed above: http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=GH21102-1A

I bought the blauparts kit and in my opinion includes everything necessary. I am not sure what the "relay roller" is, I don't see that listed in the manual?, but then again I am not sure what engine you have. I did not rent the tool kit and had no problem with the installation. The only thing that would have been nice is the seal installation tool. Take your time, plan a weekend, take frequent breaks and as long as you are somewhat mechanically inclined, you should have no problems.

Oh yeah sorry its the AEB, alright so sounds like I shouldnt need that toolkit. Anyone else have some suggestions on kits, or what else I should maybe do while Im at it. Do the kits include ALL of the accessory belts or are there some that aren't covered that I should do? Im thinking while Im at it ill do my snub mount, but I cant think of much else..

Yeah i figured it might have something to do with locking everything in place so you dont loose the alignment of the crank and cam shafts, but I guess all you have to do is mark it so its no big deal. I couldnt figure out what all that other stuff pictured was so it sounds like ill for sure skip that kit.

Tool kit not needed. the $280 one has everything you need and everything you probably don't but makes you feel better that you replaced it while you were in there. The relay roller sounds like it is the idler roller and it's in the $280 kit. That's the one I put in mine.
