You need to find the code on the bottom of that tranny. It's probably a ZF, and the code will be something like 5HP 19. Google that and satisfy yourself about the kind of fluid. This really matters, and for my money I'd only use the Audi fluid or the Pentosin. I know the correct fluid is always Esso LT 71141. I don't know enough about your symptoms to know if this is your problem, but I do know that trans will self-destruct if you have the wrong fluid in there.
