8N0 615 125X seems to be the part number for the calipers. it seems like the 99-02 tt all have the same numbers but i couldn't find one with the X at the end. i'm in if the price is below 250 with slotted/drilled rotors. the rotors are probably from the 90s a8.

thanks kraut, maybe PM me some recent picks if you got them handy. I'd rather buy local to avoid all the shipping, and did you mean 4 wheels plus the spare, or no spare? Let me know how much $ your asking. I want to keep it cheap for 16's, but I'm also consideringlooking for 17's aftermkt new w/ tire package (or used in the classified) if I can get a set for not much more than the 16's. IMO 18's are just too much for these crappy roads with all the potholes around here. Thanks.
And Brian, Why'm not on dat list yall?

ecs has 3 different options for the a8 kit, im getting ready to order the slotted, x-drilled....maybe you want to talk to them about it?
i also need a timing belt and some other things i was shopping around for, (hawk hps pads(wouldnt 10 sets of a8 rotors tt caliper carriers, and hawk hps pads rock?), zimmerman slotted, x-drilled rear rotors, and 034 track density engine mounts)....
so if anybody else wants to get any of these things we can work on another group buy.....

sorry, i wasnt trying to hi-jack your thread, just tossing out ideas...

add me to the list! If the price is $200 or less.. As of now it doesn't seam like there is to much information, just a long list and some hopes. If you can get it rolling count me in!
