Best suspension with little ride height change?

Best suspension with little ride height change?
So now that I have figured out what I will be doing for upgrading my performance I'm trying to see what I should get for suspension for better handling and braking as well(although I have some in mind but would like other ideas too). I want to get suspension that has little to no drop on ride height and I want brakes that have better stopping power of course. I'm upgrading to a GTRS elim kit if that helps your opinions. And I would just look around at different kits(and I have) but I wanted to see what you guys are using and how the ride height and handling has improved for you.
Thanks,
Chris

For brakes, get the A8 upgrade and pair it with a good set of pads like Hawk HPS. Suspension is a no-brainer - OEM S4 struts, springs, and swaybars. I posted an informational sticky in the DIY area of the forum on its use and my impressions. Here it is:

Where did you get your set? Also, how much?
And I was thinking about those A8 replacement but then saw these:
Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Braking > Big Brake OEM > ES#2189956 Cross Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors - Pair (312x25) - 8E0301RXSGMTLRA

I got my S4 stuff from an S4 guy who had upgraded. Those rotors are what the A8 rotors will be - stock is 288mm and the A8, like those, has 312mm. You can't just put them on though - you need the caliper carriers from a TT. Those cost an unjustifiable amount by themselves (like $90 each) from parts suppliers normally. If you can find a TT being parted, get the carriers. Chances are though that your best price will be from ECS or another supplier as part of a kit.

No, you can get the A8 kit from ECS for $249 with two carriers and two blank rotors. Adding slotting or drilling and slotting adds $50. You're looking at the Porsche or true aftermarket parts. As for the suspension, look on vwvortex.com in the Audi classifieds or if you're on Facebook, join the group B5 S4 owners. A few guys on there deal in S4 parts.

Okay. So, why is there two separate places for rear and front brakes on these? The one's that you are talking about only show up for front brakes. But I don't understand how front and rear brakes would be different. Also, for the one's that aren't the A8 part (Audi B5 A4 Quattro 1.8T > Braking > Big Brake OEM > ES#2189956 Cross Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors - Pair (312x25) - 8E0301RXSGMTLRA) would they work well? Would I also have to get the TT caliper carriers? On either of them should I buy new calipers so I have bigger ones?
I am currently hunting down a partout with suspension left still. But what I be able to just get some coilovers that would provide me with better handling as well?
Thanks

Carriers fit over the rotor and mount the caliper. Any rotors larger than stock will need a different carrier. Just buy the kit and be done. Rear brakes don't need an upgrade. Their purpose is mainly to keep the back of the car behind the front of it when braking. And yes, you can buy coilovers too and achieve the same result as an S4 setup...for 4-15x the money and not using them for what they're made for, which is lowering.
