if you know your way around an engine bay then im sure you can do it. take the wheel off. its self explanitory...you see what you have and what you need to replace, its all there and in the open. the back is like 5 bolts if you go with coils and the front is like another 5. it was litterally the easiest thing ive done to my car. with the least amount of problems.

Front is three bolts. One big one holding the strut to the control arm(?) and two more in the engine bay. Boom. Done. Rear is five bolts, four holding the strut housing to the car and the fifth is near the E brake cable. It's so simple removing/re installing. The most difficult part, for me anyway, was taking everything apart once it was outside the car.

I knew nothing about suspension jumping into this, I just followed the DIY on audidiy.com

How low do you want to go? Minimal wheel gap? No wheel gap? Tucking tire? <-- do that. Lol.

if this is the diy Article you are talking about, all i have to do now is make sure i have all the tools to do it.

except for this part:
Editors note: This method is not advised on cars with any sorf of mileage on them. This Pinch Bolt tends to weld itself in, and can be VERY difficult to remove. Only remove this bolt if you also plan on changing the upper control arms at the same time. Check THIS article for an alternate method ]
