Best HID kits
I have a 1999 audi a4 1.8t and have a stock headlights that comes with it and i want to convert it to HID, i am reading many threads about putting aftermarket hid kits on their a4's which causes some of their dash lights to go on. i dont want to happen with it on my a4 once i put aftermarket hid kits on it. So my question is whats the best HID kits to buy and put on my a4, i dont want to make my dash looks like christmas, you know what i mean?. any guys here who have hid kits on their cars what can you guys recommend? have you experienced any problems in your car once you put aftermarket hid in it?

Your car won't have trouble with the kit. The newer A4s are the ones that sometimes need an additional mod to eliminate the warning light. Not yours - it's plug and play. Most use VVME kits - they don't cost much but there have been problems. Mine are fine now - over a 2-year period I relaxed one ballast and one bulb. They cost $70 shipped. I had a Philips kit in my 300ZX that cost over $500, but I bought that kit 8 years ago and prices have dropped. However it absolutely was a better kit and I never had a single issue with it.
