Best friend wrecked his b5 tonight... What to do?

If the price was right I was thinking of picking them up for my stock wheels, but after reading the reviews on them I think I'd pass either way. Thanks.

Tire kingdom wanted $90 for mount and balance on my wifes 16" wheels. That wasn't even including alignment which would be another $80.
It seems that corporate tire stores charge easily $30 more for each tire than say, tirerack.com would. So about $470 for tires plus $170 mount/balance/alignment, that's $650.
I will NEVER go back to a big tire place again. They suck.
It seems that a lot of tires that come stock on new cars suck!

too bad i didn't see this thread earlier before you guys got rid of the car.
i'm in ct living in monroe (between danbury and bridgeport and shelton)
I would of easily bought driver side mirror glass (mines ******* rusted and i don't even have the heated mirrors makes no sense), abs module and fuel sending unit.
where you at in ct?

I'm right over in Trumbull! The crash was in Monroe and the car was stored in monroe for a week till we sold it.
That's too bad...
If you want cheap parts though, go to chuck and eddies pick and pull yard in New Haven. They always have a few B5 Audis.
