I was just browsing ebay yesterday and there is a bently going for<$10. I'm sure that it will sell for more than that - but here is the link -

I just spent a little over $90 for a bentley manual...I was looking for one for awhile and last time the prices were much much higher. Please tell me that the ridiculously higher price I paid (in comparison with the hynes) was in someway worth it. What does the bentley manual offer that the other one doesn't?? Are they basically the same??

yea, i totally agree
i've never had any experiences with chilton/bently manuals, (as far as i know the shops around me only have haynes), but either way its an awesome resource to have, whether you plan on doing alot of DIY'ing or not
picking one up is one of the first things we do in my family after somebody gets a new car
thats good practice man.

JasonnosaJ, I wouldnt know if they are similar. Really depends on how you judge the book and the amount of information given to you for that price. Whered you buy yours anyway?

I'm planning on picking up a Bently soon, but if Haynes is close (I'm sure its not as good, the price has to be justified somehow...) I'll save myself 60 bucks.

I just bought mine off of ebay...there weren't any there for awhile but I've seen about 5 of them recently. I just saw one that is currently going for $25 USD but its an auction and has 4 days left. The rest are at about $80. Hope the manual was worth the extra money. Here's the ebay link, but I guess you could just do a search on ebay.

You probably could have found the Bentley for a little cheaper, $75-80, or less than $70 for the cd/dvd. But with that said, the Bentley Manual is definitely better than the Haynes Manual.. Go to your Auto parts store and look for the Haynes Manual, a lot of times at the stores I go to, there isn't plastic over the manuals so you can flip through them.. I bet you'll be happy you got the Bentley.
