Best $30 i've spent this year
Ok so I decided to buy myself the HAYNES repair manual formy A4. I'm pretty pysched about it as I really do wish to learn a lot about my car and in cars in general(I know just above "little" knowledge). I have scanned the book a little, andso far I can see many potential in helping me in the near future.
I really believe everyone one should have this, even if you are an expert. It's always good to just refer back to something. If you are a new member I RECOMMEND this book. It goes into great detail, lots of troubleshooting, and based on a complete teardown and rebuild.
Better paying $30 and knowing something rather than paying extra $$$ by getting ripped off by a "stealership"

yea, i totally agree
i've never had any experiences with chilton/bently manuals, (as far as i know the shops around me only have haynes), but either way its an awesome resource to have, whether you plan on doing alot of DIY'ing or not
picking one up is one of the first things we do in my family after somebody gets a new car

+10 Haynes manualis a great resource. The only problem I have with it is it doesn't cover the 12v 2.8, only covers the 30v. Guess which one I have.[:@]But for non-engine-specific things, it's fantastic!
