Default BEEp BEEP

Stupid problem.
I have a swapped cluster and my car beeps whine i romp on it sometimes, not all the time. But i was flying on the way home to see if it was hard turns or high speed and the speed does it. Its three beeps, I'm not sure if the swapped cluster just won't display a warning but i know the oil warnings do pop up on this cluster. I have no exhaust either so no rear 02.

It's my understanding that you can set speed warnings on these clusters. So a previous owner of your cluster may have set a warning that will cause it to beep when you hit 75mph or whatever. I'm not entirely sure how to set/reset the speed warning but you may want to look into that option.

Maybe it is possible to set beeps for multiple purposes, but I don't have that answer.

i know that as i was reading through the manual, the instructions to set/reset the speed warning are in there. not sure that this is the problem you are having but maybe a good place to start

i got the speed warning too. you can set it for two different speeds. i always forgot how to set it but i think you hold down the trip reset button for a couple seconds, and hold it down to delete the warning
