VDO Vision Series ordered. $47 including a tubing kit and a red led for cockpit matching.

I'm excited!

Are you going to mount it in the driverside vent? I found the Dremel tool to be really helpful for making your own vent pod.

Yes sir, thats the plan. So if I decide I want even more gauges it'll work nice with a pillar pod.

Didn't you do driver's side?

yes, i mounted it in the driverside vent, i got my cuz to paint everything black after the gauge was mounted in the vent. It looks pretty good, I will post some pics when i get a chance.

Im not a huge fan of AutoMeter however. Somewhat cheap looking and the fitting on the back of the gauge makes it awkward to mount. Someone gave me the gauge so I just used it. VDO is prob the better choice

Yeah, it seems more serious. But that looks good on Euro cars. Less flash and more subtle changes.
