How do you tell if the Master Cylinder is bad? I have ss lines and this is the second time i have had the brake system completely go out on me. granted the first time the rear caliper popped off and shredded the line. But in the passenger front i can tell theres brake fluid getting out, the paint is peeling in the bracket and theres fluid everywhere. i checked the connection and its tight and def all the way in. leading up to this tho the brakes slowly got worse, i knew there was a problem i was just waiting to solve it. i did make the mistake of dumping fluid in a completely drained system and bleeding that way, so empty MC, also my friend pushed the pedal all the way to the floor instead of holding off a little. so BAd MC? Im about to delete the abs and run all new lines, just wondering if i need a new MC while I'm there.

 

i had the hood open today while pumping the pedal and the booster sounds like its whistling? I've never heard it before
