i dont know about the rest of you guys but mine works like crazy. the only part im pissed about is first gear only peaks at about 15-16 psi. the rest peak at 22ish. it was the best 125 bucks i ever spent.

gigantor: That would indicate to me that you have a boost leak or other possibly a turbo/wastegate problem that is keeping you from boosting what your car is requesting

Here's the tennis ball method link:

its from audi diy.
make sure you use an air compressor with a sufficient flow rate and adjustable pressure regulator so that you dont overpressurize the system. It has worked well for me on a few occasions. A preesurized smoke machine would be ideal.
To convert the logged boost numbers you need to subtract the atmospheric pressure (~1000 mbar), divide by 1000 mbar, and multiply by 14.5 psi/1 bar to get psi.

I was told that even on the 2.8 I would feel a difference, but honestly it feels the exact same now. I was hoping for an increase in response at least, but it still has hesitation. I am really beginning to wish I had a 1.8T. the 2.8 is basically useless. my 4.6 f150 pulled much harder =/

The only problem I had was when I reinstalled the ECU after getting it back from Oliver, it threw up a CEL for a RAM error (P0604) but I took it to my mechanic and he cleared it and readapted the TB and its been good since. As far as seeing a difference, I can tell there is something there. Shifting is a lot smoother, the power band was smoothed out and the RPMs don't drop as fast when I put the clutch in so shifting feels almost like the power delivery is that of an automatic and or CVT. I have also noticed an increase in response, when I put my foot in it, she jumps up a lot quicker than before. I also have seen a pretty impressive boost in my gas mileage, where I used to get ~22.8-23.3 mixed city/highway, I now am getting 24.0-24.5. I don't know what everyone else's problem is, but I've been very satisfied with this tune.

CAR WON'T START !
Got ST chip last month with the group buy, car has been running fine, noticed more torque.
Stop by a store from work yesterday, when I came back out the car would not start.
Called my mechanic, he asked if I had chip, yes, he said probably is the cause.
So I removed the ECU and put it back on. then the car started, good.
I will call Oliver today to see if I should send my ECU back for rework.
Does anyone else had this problem? What really happened? any indepth info is appreciated.
