Back in a B5 again
#113
Had a little run of owning an S3 which ended badly but just picked this up on tuesday. 140,ooo mile 20v non-turbo to do me for commuting 70 miles a day.
it got a wash at my friends garage
and the badges fell off
I was more looking for a PD but this one came up and loved the straight rust free kingfisher blue and took the plunge. The top arms are away at the front and there is a rumble from the rear brakes and at a quick look it looks like the rear calliper is partially seized and the left rear disc is beyond salvage so they'll be on the to do list. Loving driving a B5 estate again

hahaha, cheers New wheels went on today but as per usual they werent straightforward Spigots were way too big so had to run about to find new ones which still weren't right so had to modify them and after I eventually got them on and let the suspension resettled they definitely need a bit spacing although at 9" and et30 theyre not bad but im just not happy with them but never had time to whip them back off and spacer them up but the D2 is going in for an exhaust first thing tomorrow so ill hopefully get a chance then
