Not sure how long you let that idle, but when these motors sit for a while, all the oil drains out of the head and the cam adjuster. Sometimes they make a lot of noise till you get oil pressure built back up to the head. Even in the morning, my V6 will make some noise for 10 or 20 seconds. Anyone who's rebuilt one of these motors knows it makes one hell of a scary sound when you first start it up.

After 2 weeks it might take a while.

I get that exact ticking noise when my car is low on engine oil.

Most likely this, Audi motors around this time were known for loud valvetrains, after it's been sitting a while it's going to be even louder until it warms up. If you have the proper oil level and pressure (you'll need to hook up a gauge for pressure) then you're fine. When I first started my new motor that's neeb sitting for god knows how long I could clearly hear the valvetrain over the noise of an open downpipe, it got much quieter by the time it was warm.
