Hi Guys. I'm needing to get my ABS repaired and on the repair site it indicates that I should remove the fuse to prevent the ABS module to prevent ABS motor burn out but when I remove the fuse the car wont turn over so I can't start it.

Is this normal? Is there a way around this? I've been driving my car with the ABS flashing for probably 2 years now so I hope the motor isn't already burnt out. The website covers many cars so maybe the B5 A4 isn't affected by this burn out issue they talk about (I hope).

Any info would be appreciated.
