Default Axles

Ok definitely got a failing CV drivers front. How are the axles at advance auto parts? Theyre $70 each. I remember someone mentioning to me a few months ago something about replacement axles being junk and recommended getting remained axles. Does anyone agree, disagree, and/or know a good website to get them from?

Several of us here have used axles from API (the distributor for Advance Auto) and they've worked fine, no early fails or BS.

Put two of those pieces of **** on my GF's TT. One lasted 5 miles, the other lasted about 100. I've never replaced a whole axle on my car, only outer CV joints. I replaced the two shitty Chinese axles with Raxles and couldn't be happier. Plus they have a lifetime warranty and Marty is a great guy. I'll definitely be a repeat customer if I ever need another axle.

They charge $200 per axle vs the $70 at advance auto but Ive heard great things about them and they have a lifetime warranty. Ill probably go that route.

I'm tempted to just go with the Advance Auto axles, but they're "GSP" brand and not "API" according to the website, unless those are one and the same?
