Default Axle broke and hit Trans mount

I have a 2000 Audi A4 1.8T b5 Quattro. Well driving the inner joint on the front left axle failed, causing all of the bolts to rip out except for one. The axle then spun with that one bolt and hit the transmission mount, cracking it( the mount in talking about is....if your looking from under the hood right behind the axle). Also well spinning it chipped where the axle bolts to the transmission. I replaced the Cv axle and still need to replace the transmission mount but just well rolling it back i can feel a thunk. I fear that this has messed something up with in the transmission. All this happened well turning out of a gas station, going know faster then 5MPH. Sorry if my information is vague and hard to understand.

Thanks ahead of time.

well turning out of a gas station is one of the times when you have more stress on the axle. also a bad tranny mount will cause clunking noises

swap out the mount and while you're at it, get a new snub mount too. you'll feel a world of difference
