Hi all first time audi owner
audi a4 1.8 APT (none turbo) 110,000
it has the ignition coil pack (2x internal) and 2 leads 4cyl
i have a cyl1 and 4 no spark checked plugs all working
baffled
original was faulty showing on meter cyl1 and 3 faulty
so i set out to find a good s/h part i did this 3 times all 3 had same faults so 99% sure its NOT coil pack
then i googled the problem and this popped up it might be the ignition control module ahhh ... yes many have that fault but mine has module built into coil dammm...
now im totally lost as to why the coil pack seems to be at fault yet its not!
cyl2 and 3 spark ok 1 and 4 nothing
no fault codes on my meter
brand new lambda sensor fited

i am trully baffled audi main dealer dont know
a snickers to the first to solve puzzle
