Default audi coolant loss

So today i have finally gotten my audi up on stands and started to get some othe work done i have been neglecting. The car has been getting codes for catylist threshhold, so i started there, well turns out that whoever put the cat on th last time did a half job and did not even but the third bolt in underneith so it hasnt been sealed the whole time i have owned it, problem 1 solved. Then i found 2 more problems i didnt even know existed. Next to the cat i found a pool of coolant sitting on the block, i knew of previous leak to the water pump coming from a cracked hose, but this one i have no idea where it is coming from, it is on the back passenger side next to the cat (1.8t) i think it might be a silver hose, but i am new to audi and am not sure what it does or if even it carries coolant? anyone can help me identify this leak that would be awesome as its driving me crazy that only 2 months ago the coolant system was sealed up tighter than fort knox! The second thing i found is this sticker stating repair and campaign number, i was wondering if anyone might no what this means and if it is possibly related to my current perdiciment.

it is the silver pipe on bottom, it runs right above where the leak is anyone know what it does?

this is the sticker i was talking about, could it be linked at all?

The sticker means a recall's been carried out, IIRC there was a recall for coilpacks but that wouldn't cause a leak.

Try the coolant flange on the back of the engine. that leaks all the time.

the coolant flange huh? well thats good news, i will take a look today after work, i was scared for a while that i may have cracked the block or something more serious! is this an easy part to replace? if it is where i think it is it looks like a real pain to get at, will i need to remove the cat in order to get to it?

Not hard if your hands are small. Come down from the top no cat removal needed

Getting the two bolts on and off the block is the hardest part of the install.
