Hey Yall,
is anyone familiar with the Audi Bose Bassbox? Is it possible to install one on a 2001 Audi a4 Avant... where would it go, and would it be pre-wired? There are a couple on EBay at the moment. I'm also looking for a rear door speaker to replace a blown one if anyone has one for sale.

lol. i think that's for the b6 not the b5 man. i've never heard of anything like that on the b5. you might be able to get it to work with the b5 radio but i have no idea how lol

 

You would have to see how it installs in an Avant to see if it could be made to work. I would go a custom single 10 or 12 as I think that would get you a better sound.

More news... in replacing one of the rear door speakers, I noticed taht the Bose system has a great bass sound, so I went looking. Guess what I found? The Avant already has a sub with amp in the drivers side of the trunk just in front of the small hatch opening (CD charnger spot or tool kit). Cool!
