Default Audi Algebra question

I'm looking to buy an Audi and have my sights set on a few possible candidates... I was hoping to get some opinions here as I am new to this make/platform

1997-2000 B5 A4 quattro/manual at $5 to $6k + X = 500-550 AWHP/commensurate torque/phenomenal handling/brakes

1999-2001 S4 6spd at $10-$12k +Y = 500-550 AWHP /commensurate torque/handling/braking...

wouldanyone solve for "X" and "Y" ??? (no nitrous, and I have to have "reasonable" drivability on 93 pump)

thanks!

98.5-99.5 A4 with a gt35r, cams, rods, intake manifold, garrett 750hp core, 034 or full race manifold and dp will cost you atleast $7k min. A stroker kit and standalone will be better and those are another $2.5k.

The s4 will be harder since they dont make to many turbo kits. You will need atleast a gt28r setup and about the same in the end in cost with less lag.

With the S4 I think 10-12K is low. BUT you can run a RS6 turbo setup. Whole kit will cost about $6-$8k but it's good for 475-525AWHP.

Just the turbos:

Whole Kit:
