What year is the car in question?

All I will say is this, and others may agree....when buying a modified car you always run the risk of paying for what the previous owner did before you. the car was modified for a reason, so you might run into maintenance issues more than with a car that is stock.

Do yourself a favor and have everything looked at to see what you might need to replace in the near future and go from there. By no means am I telling you not to buy it, just be cautious.

Are you able to work on cars? How much? How much are you willing to learn? Do you have another car? Will this be your daily driver?

That sounds like a good price if everything appears in working order, but don't expect to take a car like that and just drive it for years doing only oil changes.

If you know your way around cars then this could be a good deal. 5K isn't a really high price, stock for a good 99.5 usually runs from 3,500 to 4,500, plus a GT28RS with all the supporting mods will cost a couple grand more. If it's done right, the car is in good shape, and mechanically sound, then I would say go for it.

Is this an elim set up, or does it have a custom exhaust manifold? If it comes with the custom manifold, then you're already set up for a bigger set up in the future if you like... The mani itself is about a thousand bucks.

Also, give Mike2pt-zero a PM with all the mods installed (fuel injectors, FPR, FMIC, ect. ect.) and he can give you some great advise for a car like this...
