APR turbo kit from 2000 to 2001

Im buying a APR stage3 turbo kit for a guy that has a 2000 a4. I have a 2001 i know everything will fit. the only thing i am not sure of is if the ECU will be the same? can i just swap the ECU?

If not i have a unitronic tune on my ECU now boost 20psi. will this be safe to drive on? Thanks in advance for the help!

The ecu is completely different. The 01+ has a map and wideband o2 sensor which the 2000 does not. YOu will need to upgrade to the 630cc file from uni to make your car work.
