Labor only depends on the shop - figure a few hours work though. It doesn't take that long but they'll bill you based on the book quote. If it sounds that bad then yeah, handle that first. After the wheel bearing you'll need an alignment but you'll need it again after you set the coilover ride height so go to a place that gives lifetime alignments so you only pay once. If you do the bearing and then come up shortly after, you could wait until you get home - just do it soon after to keep from wearing out your tire. And you'll only pay for one alignment cost, as the lifetime one costs about as much as two alignments.

Did you fix the wheel bearing yet? Just curious - I'd bet most of us have at least one bearing that's bad or getting bad. You can go awhile on it - I went several months on a bad one a year and a half ago, and I have another going out now. I'll fix it this summer. As for the coilovers, we can still handle those here if you want to make the road trip.

i think the noise coming from the broken spring side is the upper CA rubbing the fender liner. i had the same problem. you need to get it fixed asap. i drove on it like that for about a week. basically your rear end is twisted right now. i wouldn't worry about the wheel bearing yet as they are a piece of cake and even with the noise you can drive on it for a while. i gotta do my front bearings lol. how about i just take those COs off of your hands and i'll come to your house to do your bearings and spring? : )
