Anyone wanna buy a short throw shifter?

Damn. Does CCA4 have dibs? How much do you want for it, I'd love to fix my slop.

The ebay shifter doesn't fix slop, I can attest to that. If you want slop reduced or eliminated, you need a whole new ball/cup assembly as can be had by JHM Shortshifter or just getting a new stock one. All the short shifter is is basically a shorter throw rod and some tweaks to the way it connects to the linkage, it does absolutely nothing for the slop.

oh yea trust me this is only temporary till my swap is complete then when i know i have money to spend im gonna get this

Wait, maybe I mislabeled "slop." My friend has a short shifter on his celica. The play I have while in gear on my **** is around the same amount of play he has in neutral. Its VERY VERY tight lol. So I don't think I have more slop then anyone else, but would I benifit from a new ball/cup?

Hmmmm. I was thinking about getting one of these but it sounded involved. this looks like a quick lil upgrade. I may look into this, although i miss gears as it is now....damned 5th gear.
