I found a great deal in the classifieds The only reason i post this is because i know that not everyone likes to look into the classifieds every day to check out what has been posted lately, AND the fact that the classifieds here doesnt have a seperate section for B5, B6, B7 etc so its not exactly the most user friendly way to sell something.

One thing though, you can not recode a 2000 ECU to work in a pre 2000 car. We are talking dbw vs ndbw. So they would have to flash a new tune into the pre 2000 ecu. The 018P ecu will not work in any other A4 1.8t other then the 2000. It will work on a 2000 Passat though. You might want to try posting it for sale on Passat World.


Great thing is that someone could grab this and have the turbo upgraded to a HTA2868r(billet compressor wheel) and end up with 2871r power.

 

I called into APR and asked them and the guy quoted me $50 to make it work for pre 2000. maybe he meant if i had a spare ECU from a pre 2000 car?

And yeah the tune and the Mani are the best parts of this kit. not to mention the turbo is in excellent shape, the pictures dont do it justice.
