Drilling and slotting in the rear really isn't necessary and is mainly for show. If you're going to upgrade from stock, get the A8 brake kit (see the pic in my sig - they're Powerstop A8 rotors an inch larger than OEM A4 rotors, with TT carriers to fit the OEM calipers). They are awesome - search out "A8 brakes" on here and you'll find nothing but happy owners.

Check the classifieds here, on Audizine.com, and check with tirerack.com, wheelsnext.com, and discounttiredirect.com. Any of them could turn up some nice wheels. FWIW, you can likely find 17 or 18 inch wheels at a good price (got my 18s from a forum member, with tires, for $450). Then you can fit the A8 brakes easily. If you're going to buy wheels, you may as well get upsized wheels.

yea true...but my cars going to look like a monster truck without lowering it..lol
i wanted to lower it first and then get some rims since the rims i have right now don't look that bad, they do have some road rash but they look pretty good...thats why i wanted some OEM sized rotors for a year or so till i get some money and get some bad *** Brembo's or something...

No point to the big Brembo kit for a street car - the A8 kit will do everything you could want with ease. And it makes no sense to pay out for OEM sized rotors, only to take them off the car the next year (likely with a ton of life left in them) and then spend again to get the A8 kit. Just get your wheels and then order the brakes - save yourself some money. And even with bigger wheels, yeah the car sits somewhat tall but it's not THAT bad - look in my sig, my A4 is on 18" wheels and stock A4 struts/S4 springs. No lowering kit and it's not overly bad.

Your car doesnt run nearly hard enough to need either slots or xdrilled. Not to mention you are loosing pad to rotor contact area which will actually increase braking distance and shorten pad life. Basic street car only needs solid face rotors that are vented with some good pads. If you are looking for the cheap, you can get some ATE for cheap and get some good pads and you will decrease stops and brake fade
